Cosmic Leviathans

There are legends of floating worlds out in the astral planes. These may well be the result of cosmic leviathans, titanic creatures tens or thousands of miles in size who have traveled between the stars for eons unknown.

Many doubt their existence and others treat them as gods. They care not and travel as they will. They often carry on them other life, left by spelljammer ships or refugees from other worlds.

They gain their sustenance from starlight and travel as long as it needs to get to their next destination. Many have no destination at all.
