There's a Rand Roll and Chaos Gen Newsletter sent every month. This is the July version.
Highlighted Gens and Tools
First tool is Juice Oracle by Thunder9861 at itch. It's a free solo oracle but with many random tables useful for group or other rpg play. Also recently did an Interview with creator Joe.
It's niche, but The Tool is a hex-map generator for Mythic Bastionland, create a Realm with various terrains, Myths, dwellings, hazards and other bits for your MB game.
The Inn Menu is a system-neutral generator by circuitos with filters for biome, season, class of inn and more.
Gamebooks
Voting for the Lindenbaum competition ends in August, on the 27th. The entries are maximum 100 passages each, so there's still time to read a few and vote for your favourite(s).
A couple of newly released gamebooks that look interesting include...
- The Archive Chapter 1 (pay what you want or paid physical copy), a space horror looking through a repository of fantasy objects.
- Escape from X8 by Nat Wood (available in several formats) trying to survive after crash landing on a hostile moon
The 100 Endings Book Club has been on a break for the British summer, but polls will return soon (on our Discord) for our next book in September.
