The 100 Endings Book Club
Each month we play a different gamebook, then discuss on Discord or Reddit. People are free to just play along if they prefer to lurk in the shadows.
A monthly discussion and playthrough for gamebooks, 100 Endings Book Club started in September 2025.
Join Us
The best place to join us is on the 100 Endings & Rand Roll Discord, which has an area for the book club, gamebook discussion and gamebook design.
The club also has a presence on the r/Gamebooks Subreddit. But conversation on reddit is harder, and posts often get lost in a few hours or day.
Book Selection
The book for each month is chosen around halfway through the month before, giving people a chance to get hold of it before the next month begins.
Usually there's a discussion and a poll (on the 100 Endings & Rand Roll Discord ) to choose a gamebook based on a theme. Fighting Fantasy (Fantasy) and a New Gamebook are themes for 2025. With likely themes for 2026 being a Classic Series, Steam Highwayman, Huge Gamebook, Puzzles, Dungeon Crawling, Younger Readers and Science Fiction.

- Puzzles (Usborne Adventure Gamebooks, Bradfell Conspiracy)
- Open-Worlders (Fabled Lands, Legendary Kingdoms, VulcanVerse, Steam Highwayman, Isle of Torment)
- Tactical Combat (Blood Sword, In the Ashes, DestinyQuest, Legendary Kingdoms, Way of the Tiger)
- Big Gamebooks (Sword of the Bastard Elf, Rider of the Black Sun [hard to get], Isle of Torment)
- Visual (Lower Decks, Adventure Game Comics)
