Adding to many Tools Guides and PDF Guides on Rand Roll, here's a first try on resources for Solo RPGs.
Sources of Information
There's a couple of places on reddit to find out more. There's r/solorpgplay which is probably the best place. Then there's also r/solo_roleplaying which has the most members.
The Soloist Newsletter is a great place to get more information on solo games and news.
There's a history of solo gaming as Solo TTRPGs Timeline from 1973 to nowadays by Dan Qui Dam on Itch.
Podcasts!
Podcasts are a great way to find out how others do solo. Many are now gathered into the Solo Roleplayers Network, where you can find entertainment and enlightenment. I've interviewed several of the Podcast Creators.
One recent series that I learnt lots from was a series of roundtables by the Podcasters talking about how they do solo, hosted by Tale of the Manticore. They're bonus episodes listed as "Season 3 Solo Podsters Roundtable" 1-3
On Rand Roll
I've got Solo Games Interviews, Solo Gaming Actual Plays and 31 Days of Solo from Jan 2025.
Plus Guides for Solo Tools, Sci-fi & Non-Fantasy Solo Games, Fantasy Solo Games and an Overview Guide to Solo PDFs.
There's also a fair amount on Gamebooks, including Gamebook Resources for Readers and Writers.
Finishing Up
This is the first version, so it will receive updates in the future.
