Fantasy Villages
The core of a random village could be enough for a break in the journey, a home base or part of a PC or NPC background.
Villages need a name, here based on some simple naming patterns. Plus a descriptor to give some flavour and something going on to add life and maybe a hook to adventure.
There is a quick fantasy village generator at ChaosGen. There is also a pdf of these and more tables at the DriveThruRPG as Quick Fantasy Villages.
