Here's a copy of the November Newsletter I send out for the Rand Roll and Chaos Gen Newsletter.
Highlighted Gens and Tools
Lazarus at Itch.io has a Retro Sci-Fi Planet Generator, showing features on the planet and where they are. Plus a current disaster.
The Ultimate One-Page Solo RPG Toolkit 2.0 is out from SilverNightingale on itch. It's paid but not expensive, and contains lots of tools in a compact format for fantasy solo rpgs.
And since I now have a copy of Dolmenwood, I will point to the online Dolmenwood Character Generator at Necrotic Gnome.
Gamebooks
The 100 Endings Book Club book for November was Scorpion Swamp of Fighting Fantasy by Steve Jackson (USA). Our theme for December is new gamebooks by new authors, and the poll winner is Lost in the City by Joseph Fry.
The runner up book, Temple of the Skull God by Paul Partington, is on pay-what-you-want on DriveThruRPG until the end of December.
Speaking of DriveThruRPG, there's now a List of Digital Gamebooks on DriveThruRPG, grouped by series, classics, open-world, horror and sci-fi.
Rand Roll Articles
Solo RPGs have been introducing Ultraviolet Grasslands and then Starting Slowly.
There's Tables, Tools & Titles updates for Free Sci-Fi Digital Titles and Non-Fantasy Titles for Solo RPGs.
Random Tables was a varied bag with Fantasy Solo d20 tables for Description & Focus and Action and Theme. Then the niche 100 Fantasy Spoons and finishing off Space Fantasy Alliterative Adversaries.
And other Gamebooks articles were a Gamebook Diary of Starting Smaller and a start at a Glossary for Gamebooks.
Finishing Up
Happy gaming!
