This is a follow up to a previous article looking at the best-selling affiliates from Rand Roll at DriveThruRpg (excluding my own titles). That one looked at 2019-2023, tracking site from D&D and Warhammer early days to system-neutral and on to more solo titles.
This one looks at 2024 and 2025, with more solo titles and the first gamebook in there. Lots of people visit the Tools, Titles, Tables guides which exist for several genres and types of game.

This year Mythic reclaimed it's top spot, among four titles on solo rpgs, including the first gamebook, Lost in the City. Half of the titles are large collections of random tables (not focused on solo) and the last is an expansion for one of the others.

2025 at Rand Roll
2019-2023 | 2024 | 2025 | 2025 at rand roll
2025 was quite a year at Rand Roll and an odd year personally. There were some big interviews, rolling solo delved into newer and solo rpgs such as Broken Cask, Ultraviolet Grasslands, Apothecaria, 2d6 Dungeon, Electric Bastionland and Starforged. The 100 Endings Book Club started up in September with a new gamebook played each month on our Discord. And in December I launched my first major solo rpg title with Chaos Solo Engine - Fantasy Basic, a free version of a GM Emulator.
The three highlights for me were the interview with gamebook legend Dave Morris, finally getting to solo Ironsworn: Starforged, and finally showing off my solo emulator, getting it out in the wild.
The biggest surprise has been the 100 Endings Book Club, which went from concept to first book in about a fortnight. I've already learnt lots about gamebook writing and playing from the folks who've gathered at our discord.
Finishing Up
So onto 2026, with more gamebooks, solo rpgs, interviews, random tables and probably lots of Dolmenwood!
