Solo RPGs

Solo Roleplaying Games are ones played by a single player, combining the roles of player(s), gamemaster and audience. They often make heavy use of random tables for decisions, ideas and simulations. Some games such as Ironsworn, Apothecaria and 2d6 Dungeon are specifically written for solo. Any RPG can be played solo, often with tools such as the Mythic GM Emulator, GM's Apprentice cards or Rory's Story Cubes. Then there are gamebooks, map-drawing games and journalling
