Dolmenwood Solo Tables - Descriptor and Focus
A detailed setting, solid procedures, simple mechanics and a hoard of random tables makes Dolmenwood a great option for solo roleplayers. Enough that I'm doing a solo actual play for Dolmenwood, starting with game intro and characters.
Part of solo play using an emulator such as Mythic, Plot Unfolding Machine or another engine is coming up with ideas. I've been using d20 tables for the Chaos Solo Engine, so I've created some using words tailored to Dolmenwood.
The Descriptor and Focus are usually combined, rolling once on each and using the result for ideas or fleshing out something. It might be a quest focus, the contents of a dream, a hex secret or fleshing out an idea.
I'll publish the first version of these, with the plan to later publish them as part of a pdf title.
